The process

Coco Rose Beauty had been trading as a sole beautician using manual diary management and various methods of contact to its customers.  The legacy way of working wouldn’t have worked for the salon with the ambition there would be multiple beauticians offering various services within the premises.

The salon wanted to create a seamless user experience from the moment they land on the website, booking an appointment, receiving notifications to post salon experience and marketing.

Wireframing

From the research and journey flow, I moved into creating low fidelity wireframes to help the client understand the structure and layout of content on each page. From the research we determined that most customers access competitor websites via mobile devices, so we led with a mobile first approach to the design.

Prototyping

Once the wireframes were signed off, I created a high fidelity prototype of the user interface and design for the website. This was then deployed into WordPress CMS platform where testing began to understand the performance based marketing activity.
